Lore Olympus is a Webtoon comic retelling of the story of Hades and Persephone.
One of the most popular and successful comics on the WEBTOON, it has been a #1 New York Times Best Seller, won the Harvey Award, and been nominated for the Eisner Award and Ringo Award. In 2021, Netflix was developing an animated TV series adaption. [1]

Lore Olympus is one of the most popular comics hosted on Webtoons, [2], and has been since at least 2019 [3]
Reception
Lore Olympus is a somewhat polarizing fandom, with a large number of both fans and antis.
Part of the reason for this could be some of the mature themes within the work, which include sexual assault, abuse, and toxic relationships, among others. When dealing with sensitive topics, people may have different opinions regarding how it should be handled. This has likely led to what has been seen in the fandom, with people voicing strong feelings both in support of the story and how it has been handled, and strong criticism regarding these elements.
Some readers and other comics creators feel the comic has poor characterization, contrived plots, and lack of long term consequences to keep the story interesting.
