In the Spore fandom, lore may refer to either the canon of the game itself or, more commonly, a type of fanfiction consisting of written content about one's own Spore creations or play-through of the game, typically in an encyclopedic format. This may cover anything from the biology and behavior of one creature to the detailed history of an entire civilization.
