Look at the Flowers is a meme in The Walking Dead fandom. The term came from season 4, episode 14, The Grove, where a distraught Carol tells child Lizzie to "look at the flowers" before killing her. This meme is more about the phase then a image. Visual memes are not consistent, still images from The Grove are sometimes used, but also are other images of Carol, and occasionally other characters are displayed saying the phase. Fans use the meme to express disdain with opinions or concepts. The history of the meme is unclear, but the first memes started to appear within weeks of the airing of The Grove.[1]
