Lolcow is an internet slang term for a person who is repeatedly mocked or trolled online due to their eccentric, controversial, or easily baited attitude, often generating "lulz" for internet communities such as 4chan or Encyclopedia Dramatica. The term is somewhat dated but it hasn't disappeared. The term implies someone who can be “milked” for entertainment because they consistently react to or provoke ridicule without learning from it.
Many lolcows were associated with fandom and were targeted for their behavior considered "cringe", like cosplay, fanfiction or fanart and many came from fandoms like the furry fandom, Sonic or My Little Pony.
