licenseartistic was a LiveJournal-based writing prompt community that asked participants to claim individual characters to fill prompts with. The claimed characters were called pups, and roleplaying with them was permitted outside of the community, but the community itself was restricted to prompt fills.
About
1. This is a fiction writing community. No rp is allowed in posts in the main community itself. RP in your own journals is absolutely fine, go right ahead, knock yourself out. Just play nice, kids. We're all adults here, let's be respectful, okay?2. This is an invitation only community. If you would like to join, please send a list of your writing along with the character you wish to write, and we'll take it on consideration. We're not unreasonable, chances are we'll accept you.
3. NO ORIGINAL CHARACTERS! There are legions of OC writing communities on LJ. This is purely for fanfiction, not OC's.
4. We are not your mothers. If you break one of the rules, that's your fault. Don't scream about how you have been so terribly wronged when you yourself fucked up.
5. No flaming. Flame once, banned for good.
6. Fics must be a minimum of 150 words. Place all fics of 250 words or greater behind an LJ cut.
