Lestat is a vampire and antihero who appears in several The Vampire Chronicles novels by Anne Rice. Lestat has also appeared in several adaptions of Rices' novels, and been portrayed by multiple actors. He was played by Tom Cruise in the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire, and Stuart Townsend in the movie Queen of the Damned.
In 2022, Lestat was portrayed by Sam Reid in the Interview with the Vampire TV series.

Lestat is most commonly shipped with Louis de Pointe du Lac, especially after the 2022 TV series, which heavily focused on their relationship. He is also sometimes shipped with Armand.

- Dreamstat refers to Louis' hallucination of Lestat in the Interview with the Vampire episodes in Season 2. The shorthand for this hallucination became Dreamstat, to differentiate between Louis hallucinations and the real character. On Ao3 the Dreamstat tag is synned to the Hallucination Lestat de Lioncourt.
