Laurie D. Haynes was an X-Files fan and archivist.
Haynes was a very controversial figure in fandom due to her banning certain kinds of fiction on her archive, as well as aggressive (some fans used the word "terrorist" [1]) opinions and actions regarding Fox Mulder's departure and replacement by John Doggett on the show. Her views and actions regarding the character John Doggett were a subject of much controversy. [2]
She maintained alt.binaries.startrek.adult,, as well as the popular X-File fanfic mailing list - atxc and its archive Xemplary (one of the oldest and largest X-File fanfiction websites at the time). Haynes was also the probable creator of The DoggShit Website.
Haynes was also a leader and moderator of IMTP Virtual Season (The X-File Virtual Season), though she stepped down from that involvement around early August 2001.
Haynes was a co-archivist the X-Files fan vid site Rhythm of the Heart.
She created artwork, was a beta reader, write fiction, and helped other X-File artists create their own websites
She also co-edited and co-published the fanzine LoneStar Trek from 1989-1994.
