Rhythm of the Heart was an early X-Files archive which contained fan-created musical MSR and David Duchovny-centric slideshows and videos.

from 2001

One of the co-archivists was Laurie Haynes.

Announcements and Tech Challenges

[2000]:

Got a bunch of new music slideshows and videos up at Rhythm

of the Heart. http://www.geocities.com/xfrhythm The site specializes in DD/Mulder and MSR slideshows and videos.

Enjoy!

There are still some links that point to Zing and therefore don't work, but I'll be cleaning those out. If you published a show to Zing, then you need to upload to a different host, since Zing no longer supports RealSlideshow. That will mean uninstalling and reinstalling RealSlideshow so you can choose a new host such as photopoint.com, geocities.com or tripod.com. Once that's done, please send us the new link.

Rhythm of the Heart is jointly sponsored by DuchovnyNet, DD News Planet and Xemplary. [1]

[2001]:

Those of you that have your slideshows hosted on Photopoint (this includes me) need to move them to a different host -- Geocities or Tripod are the remaining free slideshow hosts. If your shows are on Zing, they will continue to host them, but won't take any new ones unless you pay a subscription fee. If you saved your slideshows on your hard drive or on removable media, then it's just a matter of uninstalling and then reinstalling Real Slideshow to select a new host. IMO, this is a drawback of the program that you have to uninstall to do this, but... Those of you with slideshows hosted at Photopoint and that we link to from Rhythm of the Heart, need to either republish your slideshows to Geocities or Tripod, or pay the fee to Photopoint. [2]
