Lakorn is used to refer to Thai television dramas.
Each series is a finished story, unlike American cliffhanger soap operas. Lakorn episodes usually have a run-time between 45 minutes and two hours including commercials. A series will usually air for around three months, with as many as three episodes per week. [1] Thai dramas have been gaining more popularity outside of Thailand recently with the success of BL series such as SOTUS and 2gether.
