Ladyhawke: A Medieval Journal is a gen Ladyhawke anthology of puzzles, fiction, filks, games, and articles based on the film.
There are twelve regular issues. There are also two "Best Of" issues called Ladyhawke: The Best of Medieval Journal.
A 1985 description:
Our purpose is to promote this film and the people who created it, and also to encourage the study of Medieval history and culture Published quarterly, three issues will be devoted to the factual articles on the Middle Ages and the making of Ladyhawke. The Winter issue be primarily fiction: stories, poems, filks, and original art. Limited copies of issue one still available. Issue #2 contains articles on falconry, horses, hearaldy and the Black Death (The Plague), as well as publicity stills from Ladyhawke and Rutger Hauer's new film 'Flesh and Blood. Winter issue will run about 200 pages, due out in December '85. [1]
