The LOST OMWF vids are a series of eighteen linked fanvids created by vidder me_llamo_nic in 2010. The soundtrack for the vids is the music from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode "Once More, With Feeling"; the clips come from Lost.
- Some of you may already know this; the Buffy musical episode 'Once More, With Feeling' originally aired on this day (November 6th) in 2001.
- A few days ago I had an ambitious vidding idea. The next morning, I found out that OMWF Day was coming up. This coincided too perfectly with my idea...[1]
The final vid in the series was posted on November 23, 2010. The full eighteen-vid cycle was completed and posted in under three weeks.
The vidder argues that no canon knowledge of Buffy is required and that "these are pretty much like regular LOST fan vids, just set to the music from the 'Once More, With Feeling' episode of Buffy,"[2] though to fans of both shows, Nic's choices of Buffy voices to pair with Lost footage offered a fascinating interpretation of the two shows' commonalities.
