LGBTQ+ Anime Austin is an active fanclub/meetup group in Austin, Texas.
The group was originally named "Yaoi Austin" and meetups were centered on watching yaoi and yuri anime, usually in the back room of the Ooples Anime store. As time went on and additional members joined, activities expanded to collectible card games, karaoke nights, fanart drawing sessions, attending pride rallies, and more. The club was renamed "LGBTQ+ Anime Austin" in July 2017 to better reflect the broadening nature of the club's activities and membership.
