Klaus is a traditionally animated Christmas comedy film written and directed by Sergio Pablos, produced by his company The SPA Studios and distributed by Netflix. The film follows Jesper Johansson, the new postman from the city of Smeerensburg's, befriendeds reclusive toymaker Klaus (Santa Claus).

History

When Jesper distinguishes himself as the postal academy's worst student, he is stationed on a frozen island above the Arctic Circle, to be the new postman of the Smeerensburg, where the feuding locals hardly exchange words let alone letters. Jesper is about to give up when he finds an ally in local teacher Alva, and discovers Klaus, a mysterious carpenter who lives alone in a cabin full of handmade toys. These unlikely friendships big deliver of gifts: melt an age-old feud, forging a new legacy of generous neighbors and a sleigh full of the first Christmas holiday traditions.[citation needed]
