Barry/Kara is a het non-canon pairing of Kara Danvers (Kara Zor-El/Supergirl) and Barry Allen (The Flash) from crossover of CBS' Supergirl and CW's The Flash.
Fandom
The pairing started appearing once Supergirl's trailer/first look was released along with Kara/Oliver and other Supergirl's TV series ships. It slowly grew from there, but more interest in the pairing appeared after it was announced that Grant Gustin (Barry Allen) would appear in Supergirl as his Arrowverse character in late March 2016. Since then more fanworks can be found on Archive Of Our Own, Fanfiction.net, YouTube, and Tumblr.
Many fans adore their similar characteristics, and believe them to be cinnamon buns aka adorkable characters.
