Kamen Rider Ex-Aid is the 27th entry in the long running Kamen Rider tokusatsu franchise. This year's premise is that a computer virus is infecting people and creating AI monsters known as Bugsters. To fight the Game Illness and the Bugsters, doctors must acquire the power of video games allowing them to transform into game themed Kamen Riders.

Novel
On June 27th 2018, the supplementary novel Kamen Rider Ex-Aid: ~Mighty Novel X~ was released, having been written by the show's head writer, Yuya Takahashi. In 2018, translation efforts started with the sub group, Genm Corp. The project wouldn't be completed until February 14th 2022.

WHY IS THE EX-AID NOVEL JOJO CORE
I can't believe Emu's dad is being mentioned in the Ex-Aid novel I thought we will never learn the whereabouts of Emu's parents
uh so I just read the plot synopsis for the ex-aid novel and hooooooly shit it's bonkers convoluted stuff
I dont want to hype you up but....Ex-Aid never gets bad. Not even the side shit and the sequel or even the novel....
From what I gather, the Ex-Aid novel basically is like "All those headcanons you have about the logical conclusions to Emu's psychology and family life? Yeah, those are just canon."
honestly the exaid novel isnt that bad and honestly i like it, the part where emu's dad turns out to be kuroto 2 and kuroto 2 appeared to kill him is kinda confusing but ehand the part with kuroto's data still inside proto mmx origin kinda dont make sense but ill let it slide
