Kalita's Lair was a personal slash fanfiction site. It was a member of the Enterprise Slash Fic Webring and it was linked at CaPtive as a Chakotay/Paris site.

In the immortal words of Robot from Lost in Space: "WARNING!!" This site contains stories that are known as a sub genre called SLASH. That means they portray realtionships between two men. Regardless of which characters they are, these are stories about something that happens in real life; that being men have deep, satisfying and fulfilling relationships with other men.

It happens that I like to write stories that explore that kind of relationship. If you can't cope with that then Click Here for a site that may be more suitable.

But seriously, please don't come and tell me how icky you think it is that I write slash, and I won't come and tell you how icky I think it is that anyone could have a problem with that. :)

If on the other hand, you like to read slash, and you are of sufficient age and mental maturity to make an informed decision about what to read based on clearly defined ratings then by all means proceed.

I Grieve - Insights Series NC-17 (language)

Beloved Enemy This is a series based on the Voyager episode Year In Hell two. It takes many of the scenes from the original episode and expands on them. Also It explores the possibility of a relationsship between Tom Paris and Major Obrist (the Krenim First Officer) If you don't like stories about infidelity, you might like to skip this one although all is resolved in the end. Consider this my take on how things might have been in an alternate reality. PG-NC-17 (Complete)

Dark Images This story is the sequel to one I wrote earlier which is titled Broken Images. This series is an Alternate Universe story in that it has Doctor Julian Bashir aboard Voyager as the doctor after he is accidentally pulled into the Delta Quadrant with Voyager. I feel this story can stand alone, however, if you want to read Broken Images, it is filed under the author name 'kalkasar' on The Tom Paris Dorm NC15

Quarantine Chakotay and Tom are attacked by aliens on an away mission and infected with an unknown pathogen. Confined to quarters together, the race is on to find the cure before blood shed ensues! NC13

Sonata Chakotay investigates a late night, unauthorized use of the Holodecks and finds Tom in a vulnerable moment. NC13

Paris/Kim

The Other Side Of Forever Tom is killed on an away mission, and we follow the grieving process with Harry as he struggles to let his lover go. A story of hope. PG-13 Very Angsty

A Spoonful Of Sugar Harry is struck by a mysterious illness and becomes critically ill in a very short time. The race is on to find a cure before it is too late. Neelix and Tuvok go on a mercy mission while Tom maintains a bedside vigil. PG-13 Very Angsty (Complete)

Reflections This story was inspired by Batchelor Party which was written by Haggis and can be found on The Tom Paris Dorm It is advisable to read Batchelor Party first in order to understand what this is about. PG-13

Missing Scene - Desert Crossing Based on the series Episode: "Desert Crossing," this story is told from Jonathan Archer's POV and explores his gross mishandling of Trip's illness on the Desert Planet. I had to write this; the episode was badly written, and someone needed to explain how Jonathan Archer managed to forget the bare bone's basics of how to treat heat exhaustion. A/T G Complete

Short Accounts Based on the series episode: "Cold Front." This story explores a plot bunny that came from the scene in engineering when Archer and Trip have a small run in about Trip's staff. Trip is feeling resentful for reasons explained in the story. A short one part fiction. PG Complete

New The Heart of the Healer: PG-13 Another in the "No Turning Back" series, told in first person from the POV of the Zilanthi healer, Shondré this story follows the history of what happened to Tucker while he and Reed were separated after the shuttle crash.

The Dreams Series: This series is not part of any of my other canon. It is an entirely new stream.
