The Red Hen is a Harry Potter fan best known for writing in-depth essays on the series, starting in 2003.
Red Hen also contributed to the 2006 book Who Killed Albus Dumbledore?: What Really Happened in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince? Six Expert Harry Potter Detectives Examine the Evidence.
The Red Hen was part of the rampant speculation over the leaked Deathly Hallows carpet book, and argued that the book was a hoax.[1]
Red Hen was a keynote speaker at Prophecy in 2007.
In addition to their meta, the Red Hen also creates computer-generated fanart and formats and designs e-publications of fanfiction. These fanworks are on the Red Hen's website.
