In SJA, Jo is revealed to have had seven children and twelve grandchildren, with a thirteenth due. Santiago Jones, a grandson, is the only one to appear in the story. Another, granddaughter Rio, is referenced in the video Farewell, Sarah Jane. The short story Velvet Hugs reveals she has at least two great grandchildren, the second named Paulo.
The EDA Genocide gives her two children, Lisa and Matthew.
