Jedward, a portmanteau of John & Edward, is an Irish identical twin pop duo who was the breakout act and fandom juggernaut of The X Factor Season 6. They later represented Ireland in Eurovision 2011 and 2012.
They also appeared in two seasons of Celebrity Big Brother and three Sharknado films.
RPF Fandom
The significant portion of Jedward fanfiction was twincest, also known as Jedcest, and was lost in Strikethrough.
One fan wrote of Jedward fandom in 2017:
Ouch, I think you found the fandom a few years too late. :’([...] There used to be so many fics (mostly jedcest because, obviously) and there was even a fanfic archive for just that ship. Some people have saved the archive so if you ask around maybe someone can send it to you. [...] Livejournal still have some communities where the fics aren’t all locked or deleted![1]
The twins are also sometimes shipped with their ex–tour manager Liam McKenna (Jiamward, Jiam, or Liamward).
