David/Jack is the slash pairing between David and Jack in Newsies. It is by far the most popular ship in the fandom. Occasionally, the ship name Javid is used for the film couple and Javey for the stage couple, but the names are also used interchangeably.

Notable moments from the original film include Jack pulling on David's tie, the fire escape "balcony" scene, and the alley scene. They meet when they run into each other on David's first day.
