JD Church was a member of the TF Radio Network. He was a panelist of Radio Free Cybertron and the host of Fanboy Versus. JD's roots in the Transformers fandom go back to 1999 when he began posting on Usenet at alt.toys.transformers. In 2000, JD joined the crew of ColdHardSlag.com, a Transformers based website noted for its searchable price guide and audio interviews with prominent creators and voice actors of Transformers. JD stayed with ColdHardSlag.com until they disbanded in 2003.
In 2009, JD joined Brian Kilby in the relaunch of Radio Free Cybertron, with whom ColdHardSlag.com had been associated in 2001. The first relaunched podcast aired on July 19th, 2009 with Brian Kilby. Later, other shows were add to the now, TFRadio Network. New Soundwave, originally a general "geek" information show, which JD briefly hosted. New Soundwave was revamped into a video game podcast, for which JD was an occasional panelist. Later, JD became the host of Fanboy Versus.
JD passed away on February 12, 2014.
