Intrepid is the fanzine newsletter of the Brazilian Star Wars fan club, "Academia Jedi."
From the club's website: "You may not have liked the story up to now, but here is the deal: Star Wars fans here in Brazil are very disorganized! While the trekkers are ridiculous naming conventions, fanzines, etc ... we swim! Until recently a TV series like The X-Files has more websites than Star Wars! Something is wrong! I feel a disturbance in the Force! The Academia Jedi (Fan Club) is my attempt to change that...." (transl from Portuguese).[1]
The online fanzine offered "... Interviews, news, fan fiction, images, information on new movies, trivia about the filming, articles and reviews by famous writers, jokes, places to find toys and games and more links! Issue number 1 is already on sale for $ 3.50 each, the subscription costs U.S. $ 20.00 or year (six bimonthly issues."
