Right, so, this is the same premise as 'Victim of Blake', which you may remember from 'Southern Comfort 6.5', but a bit less bad. And one of the reasons it's less bad is that it is a clear sequel to the previous fic in which we actually saw Blake and Avon in a 'relationship', so we know that Blake wasn't an overbearing bastard to him, and Avon tells Vila this is so. Which I think is interesting... just as a contrast. It makes Blake suddenly a real character, who we might have to interact with. Which is not to say I liked this fic - Vila is a bit wet and Avon tells us that Blake could never bear the idea of being anally fucked, which is some characterisation I can't really be bothered with. I also don't think that Avon/Vila readers would like it that much, but it is not bad.[1]
