Some Excerpts
I've written smut for personal consumption since late kidhood. I wrote two or three mild Xena: Warrior Princess fan fiction pieces before I tried my quill at Xenasmut. For me, it was the blending of two well-matched worlds.
I've connected with some wonderful friends through my online writing. But I think I'd probably still write if I were the last dyke on earth, and no one would ever read my stuff. Being a bard is flat out fun.
The stories I write are controversial, and I've heard from readers who were disturbed by them. For the most part, their arguments were intelligent and thought provoking, and I welcomed their feedback. But given the fact that I disclaimer my smut ad infinitum, I feel readers need to take responsibility for what they consume. Make an informed decision before you start reading -- and let others do the same.
For me [Xena] was validation of all the tomboy fantasies I was supposed to find embarrassing as an adult.
