Inside Star Trek is a gen newsletter in Italian that is sometimes listed as the "Official newsletter of the Star Trek Italian Fan Club" or STIC. Over the years the zine has taken on a more professional look and now bills itself as a magazine. The hand drawn covers of the 1980s were replaced by black white production photos in 1994 and color production photos in 1996. Note: dates and contents for many of the issues listed below came from eBay sellers and may not be completely accurate.

Inside Star Trek Log 1 was published in 1987 and contains 164 pages and contains, according to one eBay seller "an episode guide, essays, poems, short stories translated, richly-illustrated."
Inside Star Trek 12 was published in Feb. 1987. The introduction says (in Italian) "We start the second year of 'open' activity of the Star Trek Italian Club with a truly Special issue of our newsletter. Inside 12 is in fact almost entirely dedicated to Star Trek IV, The Voyage Home, which is expected to arrive on our screens for next Easter, and which in the USA has jumped to the top of the box office." This issue advertises the availability of (Inside Star Trek) "Log 1", and requests submissions for "Log 2". The issue includes copies (in English) of several articles about The Voyage Home from Oct. 1986 to Dec. 1986. (Note: These dates imply some errors in other publication dates listed below.)
