hump_day_smut, titled Smut Wednesday, is a Harry Potter LiveJournal community for weekly postings of sexually explicit fanart. It is a replacement community for smut_wednesday, which was active from September 2005 to August 2007.
History
The original smut_wednesday community was deleted by its owner, fools_trifle, on August 4, 2007, in response to Boldthrough. Although there were hopes that the community would be undeleted or moved to InsaneJournal, it was not revived by its original maintainers.
Tripperfunster announced on December 16, 2007, that she and some other artists were bring back smut_wednesday as hump_day_smut:
It's official! Me and some other artists are bringing SMUT_WEDNESDAY back! It is a new comm, with new moderators, so we've given it a new name too. hump_day_smutWe will hopefully begin posting early in the new year. I've pm'd some artists from the old comm, and if any new artists are interested, email me with some of your stuff and we'll see what we can do!
