Horniness is a trope involving a character experiencing a strong and persistent desire to engage in sexual activity. This may occur within the context of a relationship, whether of a casual or committed nature, as well as with characters who are single. Sometimes, horniness is triggered spontaneously when a character meets another character whom they find desirable.
The condition is a popular trope in Alpha/Beta/Omega fics and other genres involving heat cycles.
