Hori-san to Miyamura-kun (堀さんと宮村くん), more commonly known by the shortened title Horimiya (ホリミヤ), is a Japanese slice of life anime, manga and webcomic series known for the wholesome romance between the titular characters. The series follows Miyamura Izumi and Hori Kyouko, two high schoolers who hide parts of their personalities to get others’ approval and fit in.

Horimiya originated as a webcomic under the name Hori-san to Miyamura-kun (堀さんと宮村くん) written by HERO, which ran from February 2007 to December 2011; it was then adapted into a print manga under the name Horimiya (ホリミヤ) in 2011, written by Daisuke Hagiwara and supervised by the original author. The 2011 adaptation ran until 2021, and is considered the canon version of the story. Horimiya also received an anime and a TV drama version in 2021.[1]
