From the editorial:

This is our own "pilot project." I have selected a few of the best contributions received thus far. More unique contributions to the booklet are received daily, and please continue to send them! Due to space, of course, it would be impossible to print all the VERY lovely items received. You can be sure, however, that if this first edition is successful, there will be more to come in the future. We will require a multitude of material and ideas from LNAFers, and I hope the fin work from you fellow LNAF members contained here will assist you in the development of your own.

Please remember when you purchase a copy of HIGHLY ILLOGICAL you are not only giving yourself hours of enjoyment, bu assisting the club and most importantly, the Alan Nimoy Memorial Fund. All profits from the sale of these books goes directly back into the club's printing a nd postage fund to help keep our dues at the same low level. A portion of those profits shall go to the Alan Nimoy Memorial Fund to aid in the fight against a "puzzling" disease, Cystic Fibrosis, and to try to make a life a little more pleasant for those who are stricken.
