Heritage is a gen Star Trek: TOS zine series.

It has text on only one side of the page.

Issue 1

Heritage 1 was published in April 1984 and is a 64-page novel by K.E Wissinger, Patsy Clay Hayden and N. Borden.

It is titled "Book 1."

It required an age statement to purchase.

From an ad in Universal Translator #23:

A new doctor replaces M'Benga on the Enterprise. Why does he annoy Kirk while awakening McCoy's fatherly instincts? Why does Spock avoid him? Why is Chekov suddenly insecure? Answers to these and other questions will be found in The Heritage Series."

An excerpt:

McCoy stood up and leaned over the desk. 'Dammit, I'm a doctor not a babysitter!'

Spock looked at McCoy. 'Doctor, I see no reason for his age to be of concern. He is obviously capable or Star Fleet wound not have assigned him to a ship. You have, yourself, stated that Vulcan is not your specialty. It is good to know there will be someone on the ship who knows what he is doing."

McCoy was momentarily stunned-to-silence. Spock turned to walk out. McCoy looked at Kirk. 'We'll see how well he likes kids after he gets his first examination by 'Dr. Stryker,' McCoy scowled.

At the mention of Stryker's name, Spock stiffened and hesitated.

Issue 2/3

Heritage 2/3 was published in 1985. An age statement was required to purchase.

According to Datazine #36: "What happened behind the closed door that made Stryker and Chekov friends? Why is Spock wet after an encounter with Styker? What circumstances bring Kirk and Stryker together in the early morning hours." It contains no same-sex material."
