From the editorial:
It's new! It's different! It's the "Making of the Show" as it happens.
We've revamped the newsletter in response to members' input. Nearly every letter we received said, "Tell us how it's done."
[The newsletter now contains] cut scenes, script revisions, and, the most illuminating area of all, the minds of the people who are making the show.
I emerged with interviews with Jerry Patrick Brown (Co-Executive Producer and writer of "Hero's Heart”). Paul Robert Coyle (Co-Executive Producer and writer of " Stranger In A Strange World"). Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (writers of "Web Of Desire" and.. And Fancy Free"). Michael Levine (director of 'Stranger") and Michael Hurst (director of "Fancy”).
I talked with Kevin Sorbo about doing his first dancing musical episode ("Fancy"), being a son and what he hopes to achieve as a father someday, his mischievous high school years, and the fun he had being The Sovereign.
Michael Hurst took time from his directing duties on "One Fowl Day” to talk with me during his lunch break (all 20 minutes of it!) about life with Baby Jack, directing his first musical episode and The Widow Twanky.
We removed a number of sections from the newsletter (crossword puzzle, bibliography, episode synopses, disclaimers) to make room for these interviews. The synopses, disclaimers and actor bios can be obtained by sending us a self-addressed, stamped envelope as noted in Issue #1, page 15.
I also want to give a round of applause to all the Hercules fans who sent photos for our two-page spread. The response was so good and the photos so much fun that we will be displaying more of them in Issue #3. If you have any photos you would like us to consider for inclusion, send them to the club attn: Chronicle pics. We will scan them for our use and then return them with our thanks *smile*

From the editorial:
This newsletter is filled with tidbits about the upcoming season. And we have plans for revelations in #4 that will definately keep you revved up until the shows start airing and you can see jjsut how the gang at Renaissance pulls it off. New gods, turmoil and conflict in our hero's life, travel to foreign shores -- are you strapped in and ready to go? Okay, only three months until the season premiere. I think someone should put out a Hercules Advent calendar so we can open the little windows and get sneak peeks at what is to come.
