Hemlock Grove is an American Netflix original horror/thriller television series based off a novel of the same name by Brian McGreevy.
Canon
The series focuses on the strange happenings in Hemlock Grove, a fictional town in Pennsylvania. Roman Godfrey (portrayed by Bill Skarsgård) is the heir to the town's wealthy Godfrey family, with his mysterious mother, Olivia Godfrey (portrayed by Famke Janssen) and his odd sister, Shelley Godfrey. He befriends the town's newcomer, Peter Rumancek (portrayed by Landon Liboiron) - a gypsy werewolf. Recent brutal murders in the town have stirred up rumors, and the two work together to shed light on the case while also hiding their own dark secrets.
