The Fanlore Monthly Editing Challenges will run on Fanlore each month starting in January 2025! With this, we invite you to challenge yourself with edits that might be outside your comfort zone — take your time to get to know Fanlore and help it grow month by month. Each month of the year, we’ll share a new editing task which you can complete sometime during the month to claim a badge for your User page. Collect all twelve to make a matched set!

For April, your task is:

How to participate
At the beginning of each month, we’ll share a new editing task for anyone to complete — you can find the task on this page or on Fanlore's socials (Tumblr, Twitter, Bluesky, Discord). Monthly Editing Challenges badges are self-claimable: once you complete your edit(s) for the task, come back to this page to find this month’s badge, which you can copy to display on your user page. You can also include “FMEC [month]” (like ‘FMEC January’) in your edit summaries, if you’d like!
How to display badges
Every monthly edit you complete will come with a badge that you can display on your user page. You can do this by copying the file source for the badge from here (you can find it under the “The current month” header) and pasting it into the source code of your user page, or by adding an image in the visual editor and searching the file name as it appears in the source code for this Help Page. The source code should look something like this:
