The term Heidipology originated on Fandom Wank, and is named for Harry Potter BNF Heidi.[1] It refers to an insincere apology which blames the victim for the offence. 'Heidipology' has gone into wider fannish use; it can be found in discussions outside of Fandom Wank, much to the annoyance of some of Heidi's friends.
