Heather Mason/Valtiel is the non canonical pairing of Heather Mason, the protagonist of Silent Hill 3 and Valtiel, a monster and governing angel of the Order.
Canon
Heather sees but cannot interact with Valtiel several times along the course of the game. He's usually seen crawling on walls and can serve as a jumpscare for the player. When Heather dies during the course of the game, Valtiel drags her body off to a nearby Halo of the Sun, used as a save point, intending to resurrect the "Mother of God", the being that is gestating inside Heather over the course of Silent Hill 3.
Fandom
Valtiel is sometimes seen as Heather's guardian or caretaker due to his part in her constant resurrections. He is only interested in making sure god awakens, though, and thus, his care is for the unborn god inside Heather. Fans do occasionally see him as her guardian angel. This sort of protection and relationship borders on erotic, not only due to the themes of the game, but also the way Valtiel drags Heather to the save point.
