Summary from the Author
Romulans and mind-melds and plagues, oh, my! This is my own little effort, and what can I say - I wrote a McCoy tale I wanted to read, and it was a heck of a lot of fun... After an emotionally devastating plague mission, McCoy finds himself subject to first nightmares and then hallucinations of his own interrogation by Romulans. With Spock's assistance in mind-meld, he unlocks memories of time aboard the Romulan scout Wraith and his relationship with its healer, Tr'San. The truth places him in an awkward situation vis-a-vis Starfleet Command, and somewhat at odds with Kirk as McCoy and Spock come up with an illegal solution to the problem. [1]
