Harringrove for RAICES was a charity fundraiser in Stranger Things fandom, specifically Harringrove.
It was started by tumblr user Flippyspoon in August 2019 to raise money for the The Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services. [1]
Contributors were encouraged to sign up with Flippyspoon, who added them to a list on tumblr. Each participant stated what they had to offer for what amount of donations, and then other users could contact them directly and agree on the fanwork created and the donation. A donation was made before the participating contributor started working on the fanwork in question, and a screenshot was sent as evidence of the donation. Everything was then reported to Flippyspoon to be counted towards the total.
Contributors offered up fanfiction, fanart, custom podfics, edits, gifs, poems, photo edits, icons, and moodboards.
The total amount raised was $2,187.[2]
