Hanfic Rants is a LiveJournal community for the purpose of ranting and discussing Hanson fanfic. It was created only two days after the launch of the Hanson Only Awards at a time when tensions between het and incest authors was very high.[1] Its purpose was described the creator as follows:
Basically, what we've decided to do is create a community where fans and writers of Hanfic can come and discuss err rant about what irks them on a daily basis whether it be...
- about bad Hanfic
- spelling and grammar idiocies
- annoying things other writers are doing
- trends that are ridiculous
- stories that make absolutely no sense
- people who think they're writers

As of December 27, 2016, the community has 25 members.
