Hancest is a combination of the words Hanson and incest, and refers to any incestuous pairings of the band members (and occasionally their other siblings).
The term has been around since at least 2004[1], although readers of the Lost Without Each Other Trilogy in early 2005 seem to use hancest and hansex interchangeably, suggesting that the fandom hadn't definitely settled on one term by that point.[2]
