Halloween is a horror movie franchise that, with one exception (1982's Halloween III: Season of the Witch), focuses on masked serial killer Michael Myers. The 1978 original was made with no budget and was a huge hit, defining the Slasher Film genre and paving the way for Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and beyond. It also spawned comic books, novels and Video Games. Not all of the Myers-centered films exist in the same continuity.

Big Name Fan

Musician/director Rob Zombie directed remakes of the first two films in 2007 and 2009.

On AO3, Michael Myers is most commonly paired with "Reader." He gets Slashed with Jason Voorhees (from Friday the 13th) and with Freddy Krueger (from A Nightmare on Elm Street). In an example of Enemyslash, there are stories shipping Michael with Laurie Strode[1].
