HP_Recs was a Harry Potter Yahoo! Groups mailing list for slash fanfiction recommendations.
The group was deleted in mid-August 2003, along with Little Needle's other Yahoo! groups.[1] At the time of its deletion, the group had over 500 members[2] and over 700 recs posted to the group, as well as polls, art, and links.[3] Membership was open, but messages posted to the list required moderator approval. Little Needle created a replacement group called hprecs, which has apparently been deleted and recreated since then.[4]
The group was part of the Potterfic Alliance.
Group description: "A group dedicated to making it easier for avid Harry Potter slash readers and writers to give and recieve [sic] what's new and old in fantastic HP slash recommendations."
