Hazmat AU is a trope in the Danny Phantom fandom, in which Danny's ghost form wears a "full" hazmat suit with a face-covering mask. The trope has a canonical tag on AO3. Fan designs in this trope often obscure Danny's face to make him appear more "other" and less human.
