Goretober is a month-long gore challenge in October. Most fans use prompt lists created by individuals rather than following an organized plan, although some communities such as Goretober Challenge on DeviantArt post lists annually. The first Goretober was organized by a Tumblr blog in 2014 called Goretober, but by 2019 the URL was held by an unrelated user.
