A BIG story. Has several different strands that finally intertwine rather dramatically. Sam's role is considerably reduced (ooh, painful! Boo, hiss), but there is a very intriguing scenario for how the evil PQL might have started. (I covered that one too, see 'Looking-glass Limbo'). Anne takes in a younger Alia, a Doctor Christina Meth, a 'Lieutenant John Harrison' and a Mrs Ingalls, about whom the less said the better, because when I find out her true identity, I gasped! Al gets all the hard work and the glory in this one. I think I detect an Al-coholic..... [1]
