Godwin's Law states that "As a Usenet discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one." The more recent variation is the widespread convention that whoever makes an inappropriate comparison to Hitler or Nazis loses the argument.

The existence of Snacky's Law would tend to indicate that the fandom equivalent of Nazis is "those bitchy girls in highschool."

However, in 2017, Godwin effectively "revoked" his law in reference to modern politics: "By all means, compare these shitheads to Nazis. Again and again. I'm with you."
