Rosa Diaz/Gina Linetti is the non-canonical femslash pairing of Detective Rosa Diaz and Gina Linetti on the American police sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
Canon
Rosa and Gina have a strange, on and off friendship. Whilst they do get along in some episodes, Rosa has also been shown to mock Gina in several episodes, such as when Gina is afraid that she will die of Anthrax. However, Gina's antics seem to have the best effect on Rosa, as more often than not Rosa smiles or laughs at the things Gina does. Rosa is also most frequently tasked with taking care of Gina when said antics get out of control or prove to be an obstruction.
Fandom
Rosa/Gina is a common femslash pairing in the fandom, and on Ao3 it is the third-most popular pairing overall.[1] Interest in the pairing grew in 2017, possibly due actresses Chelsea Peretti (Gina) and Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa) showing support of it.[2]
