Fritz Leiber was an author and longtime member of fandom. He was active in the letter columns of several early sci-fi zines, and contributed to the Lovecraft mythos. He invented the Sword & Sorcery label, and along with Harry Otto Fischer he created Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser.[1]
