Freddy Newandyke, aka Mr. Orange, is a principal character in the 1992 film Reservoir Dogs.
Canon
Freddy Newandyke, aka Mr. Orange, is seen early in the film drenched in blood, being driven in a car by Mr. White (who we later learn is named Larry). Mr. White brings Freddy to a warehouse; Freddy has been gutshot in the course of attempting a diamond heist with a number of other code-named criminals. Through flashbacks we learn that Freddy is actually an undercover cop who infiltrated Joe Cabot's group -- we also learn that he practiced the persona that we see in Mr. Orange, including a fan-famous monologue he gives to himself in the mirror the morning of the heist. Freddy progressively bleeds out over the course of the film, and shoots Mr. Blonde (Vic) dead when Vic tortures another, different cop kidnapped and brought to the warehouse. The killing of Mr. Blonde leads other characters, including Joe and "Nice Guy" Eddie Cabot to realize that the suspected "rat" in the group must be Freddy. Mr. White defends Freddy to the last, with Mr. White shooting Joe and Eddie and becoming wounded himself. While cradled in Mr. White's arms as the cops storm in, Freddy admits that he is a cop; Mr. White shoots Freddy, and it is implied that he is then gunned down himself.
Fandom
The slash pairing Mr. Orange/Mr. White is the primary ship for this film, and by far the most popular ship.
Many fans enjoy focusing on canon elements of Freddy's character as they've been revealed, including his preoccupation with comic books or his "90's nerdy aesthetic":
