Frank Plowright was a co-editor of Chain Reaction and was a co-founder of United Kingdom Comic Art Convention and the UK Comic Art Award. He is also a writer and reviewer in comics history, known as one of the authors of the The Slings and Arrows Comic Guide (1997). He is also a reviewer on the 1001 Comics website run by Paul Gravett.
