Four Calamities Zine is a Russian-language TGCF zine focused on the four ghost characters known as the Four Calamities: Crimson Rain Sought Flower, Black Water Submerging Boats, Night-Touring Green Lantern, and White-Clothed Calamity.
The zine mods were based in Russia, which was subject to international sanctions due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. At one point the mods announced that the payment issue for residents in other countries had been solved, though only the digital zine would be available internationally.[1]
Schedule
- April 14, 2022: Interest check.[1]
- April 20: Writer and artist applications open.[2]
- May 20: Applications close.
- October 20: Pre-orders begin.[3]
- November 20: Last day for pre-orders.[4]
- March 22, 2023: All zines shipped.[5]
